December 2002 Tip of the Month
This is a perfect time to use your beading creativity to start making holiday ornaments and decorations; under the Beading Projects link you will find a few of my own I've recently created.
There are some ready-to-make beading kits that which make creating these ornaments easy and fast, but they usually are not very affordable or unique. The ornament pictured below I made by hot gluing florist wire sections together. I began by stringing the beads and crimping the ends, then finished with two flat sided glass floral marbles glued in the center. The ornaments created under the Projects link were all made with pre-soldered wire, which I found at a local bead shop. In the event that you cannot find these forms, the florist wire method seems to be the best.
Please visit my links to view beads and supplies that you may need to create your own bead creations.
