Green & Black Variegated Bracelet

I have very few stretchy bracelets anymore because I lost my favorite stretchy necklace in the airport when it snapped.  I just don’t trust it, but it’s great for beginning beaders and is good for bracelets that don’t get a lot of wear.  Material list as follows:

Clear Stretchy Cord (I like Stretch Magic .5mm)

5 silver spacers5mm wide x 3mm deep

5 4mm round silver beads

5 8mm x 5mm green/black variegated tube shaped beads

5 8mm x 6mm green/black variegated oval shaped beads

10 5mm round green/black variegated beads

String the beads in the following order:

Spacer

Green round

Green tube

Silver round

Green oval

Repeat above once more.  Tie off the stretchy cord by tying a double knot in the end, but when tying tie first loop in one direction, the next in the opposite.  Or, another technique is to loop the stretchy twice through when tying each individual knot.  A nice trick for stretchy bracelets is to drop a bead of glue onto the knot then stuff it into a bead so that the knot is hidden and protected.
