Lavender & Black Variegated Wire Wrapped Bracelet

You will need to follow my wire wrapping instructions found in my January 2003 Tip of the Month to complete this bracelet.  The finished size of this bracelet is almost 7 1/2”, but you can easily make it longer/shorter by adding/deleting segments.  Material list as follows:

22mm Half Hard Silver Wire

10 – 6mm Coin-shaped Lavender and Black Variegated Glass Beads

1 – 3mm Round Lavender Matte Bead

1 – 6mm Silver Jump Ring

This bracelet is fairly simple once you have the hang of basic wire-wrapping, and is in fact one of the first wire-wrapped projects I ever created.

You will wire wrap the first link (three twists per end), then after creating the loop for the second, will attach it to one end link of the first before wrapping the end closed, and so on.

Once you have all sections created and looped together, you will twist open the jump ring, string on the 3mm bead, and add it to one end.  I created the connector by forming some wire into a “U” or Omega shape, pinching the open ends together, then twisting small loops on either end.  Once the clasp was done I twisted open one of the small ends and added it to the opposite end of the bracelet to finish.
