Dragon fly Bracelet

Dragonfly Bracelet

I use a lot of garnet in my patterns because I like it a lot, but you could just as easily use another type of semiprecious bead or even glass.  It might be a great children’s bracelet in pastel colors.  Finished size 6 1/2”.

Material list as follows:

2 - Black crimps

Approx. 8" of wire (like Soft Flex or Acculon)

1 – Magnetic Clasp

8 - 3mm Garnet Rondelles

18 – 2mm Round Garnet Beads

16 – 6/0 Shiny Black Beads

4 – 8mm Pewter Dragonfly Beads (I found mine at a bead store in Wisconsin, but have also seen them at stores like Michael’s and Joanne’s)

3 – 4mm Round Corrugated Silver Beads

Begin by stringing one 2mm round garnet bead, then repeat the following pattern four times:

1 – Black Bead

1 – 2mm Garnet Bead

1 – Garnet Rondelle

1 – 2mm Garnet Bead

1 – Black Bead

1 – Dragonfly Bead

1 – Black Bead

1 – 2mm Garnet Bead

1 – Garnet Rondelle

1 – 2mm Garnet Bead

1 – Black Bead

When complete, string the final 2mm garnet, a crimp bead and one side of the clasp.  Crimp and repeat on the opposite end to complete.
